Design Studio III:
This project was designing a museum to celebrate and inform its visitors about the industry that previously took place in the region. Buffalo was once an industrially rich city that was both advancing the region as well as the country with its production and innovation at the turn of the century.
Time and the change in economy have severely hindered Buffalo during the second half of the 20th century. Buffalo is now resurging with new and different types of jobs and manufacturing, as well as recreation helping to revive the city. Buffalo’s past can be seen surrounding our site. The goal of The Buffalo Industrial Heritage Museum is to take advantage of these views available to further ones understanding of Buffalo’s past, present, and its upcoming future.
